Toy Drive

 

Boys and Girls in area Children Hospitals spend their Christmas Holidays away from home. Gulf Stream Lodge collects new toys and have teamed up with local radio personalities Mo and Sally at 105.5 FM to have the new toys distributed. Every year we donate hundreds of toys that was collected from Masonic Brothers and donors. Collection dates are from the end of September through the first week of December, although if you have new toys we will pick them up or you can drop them off at the Lodge.

Collage Scholarship

 

 Each year, the Gulf Stream Lodge award scholarship to students in need of college funding. The scholarship is intended to help with books, dorm room and transportation to the students needs. The Masonic Scholarship is available to high school seniors who are U.S. citizens and attend school in Lake Worth, Fl. The scholarship is awarded on the basis of solid academic performance and demonstrated leadership skills. A student should ask the school academic counselor if a Masonic scholarship is offered in their school. Although Masons are always men, the scholarship is available to both young women and young men.

Flag Day

 

The United States Flag Day is celebrated on June 14. It commemorates the adoption of the flag of the United States, which happened that day by resolution of the Second Continental Congress in 1777. The United States Army also celebrates the Army Birthday on this date; Congress adopted "the American continental army" after reaching a consensus position in the Committee of the Whole on June 14, 1775.

In 1916, President Woodrow Wilson issued a proclamation that officially established June 14 as Flag Day; in August 1949, National Flag Day was established by an Act of Congress.

Gulf Stream Lodge No. 245 meets at Bryant Park, Lake Ave. Lake Worth, Fl. every year. This location has a Bomb Shell stage where Masons from the Scottish Rite and Blue  Lodges, meet with the general public at 6:00 pm for a Flag Ceremony.

Community Honor Awards

 

Gulf Stream Lodge Honors local Police Offices, Firemen, Teachers, and present the Scholarship recipient their Awards. Each person who receives and award in nominated by their piers. This is a open lodge where everyone is welcome.

Thanks Giving Parade

 

Giving thanks is one way of giving back to those who support us. We join the city of Lake worth with their annual thanksgiving parade.

Christmas Parade

 

Join us in Downtown Lake Worth, for a holiday celebration that will draw thousands of Lake Worth and Palm Beach County residents. Santa and his merry gang of junior high school and high school marching bands, baton twirlers, dancers, including Gulf Stream's Lighted Parade Float.

Lodge of Sorrow

 

The Lodge of Sorrow is intended to celebrate the memory of our departed brethren. Our memories are cherished with grateful remembrance, we learn to look upon death from a more elevated point of view. Join us for this open Lodge to the public.

Child I.D. Program

 

Gulf Stream believe that every child deserves to be safe. While countless children fall victim to predators each year, there are steps that parents can take to help prepare for and prevent this horrific tragedy. Gulf Steam have stepped up to help with one of the most comprehensive child identification.
